Kinga Krzyminska and Maciej Krzyminski: the creative duo of visual artists, and educators weaving tales through the lens of their cameras. As photographers, they harness the power of self-expression to immortalise the essence of human connections and the narratives that unfold around them. They are passionate about exploring topics around identity, home, and emigration through their photography. 

They have met during their studies at Plymouth Arts University, where they fell in love not only with the photographic medium but also with each other. They became partners in photography and in life, and have been inseparable ever since.

Currently living in Plymouth UK, Kinga and Maciej are working on a number of personal and socially engaged projects. As the creative forces behind /peArspektywy/, a series of innovative workshops in Poland, Kinga and Maciej impart their wisdom and expertise to the next generation of photographic storytellers. Their "eyes wide open" approach to life fuels their passion for celebrating the raw, unfiltered beauty of everyday experiences and the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

Kinga and Maciej's artistic process is rooted in the organic and authentic, as they embrace traditional analogue techniques to create images that resonate with truth and sincerity. Their work is a harmonious blend of evocative dreams and hazy memories, characterised by a distinctive aesthetic that encapsulates the value of genuine experiences.

With a decade of experience, their portfolio boasts a diverse range of commercial, documentary, and personal projects that showcase their innate ability to capture the soul of a moment.

As socially conscious artists, Kinga and Maciej actively engage with communities to develop photography projects and workshops that foster connection and understanding. They firmly believe in the transformative power of visual communication and are dedicated to crafting images that inspire, captivate, and leave a lasting impression.
